用英语表达直觉　　一说到直觉，许多人可能马上会想到instinct，比如 act on instinct 就是凭直觉行动。
除了instinct，英语中还有别的常用词来表达直觉。

　　直觉很难解释清楚，似乎是天生的一种本能，是发自内心的一种惯遥。
因此英文中还常用gut一词来表示直觉。
Gut 这个词本身表示内脏，在俚语中引申为内心的感觉，比如：She felt in her gut that he was guilty.
她从心底知道他是有罪的。
它又可用作形容词，在俚语中的意思就是直觉的，比如：I have a gut feeling that the country needs the support of all its people if we are not to fail.
我深深觉得，如果我们的遥不想失败的话需要得到全民的支持。
　　不过，若将have guts 理解成有直觉就错了，gut的复数形式不再表示直觉。
用在非正式场合中，have guts表示有勇气做某事，例如：I don’t believe he has the guts!
我可不相信他有这么大勇气!
　　直觉还可以用hunch来表示，例如：I have a hunch that he didn’t really want to eat.
我有种直觉，他其实不想吃东西。
Play one’s hunch 就是跟着感觉走的意思，比如：He did not know what they were up to, and decided to play his hunch.
他不知道他们想干什么，于是决定凭直觉行事了。
　　还有一个词也可以用来表示直觉，就是intuition，表示the act or faculty of knowing or sensing without the use of rational processes; immediate cognition.
直觉，比如：And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.
较重要的是要有勇气遵从你的内心和直觉。
