【新托福考试高分突破 词汇】Word List 13　　When we use two or more adjectives together to describe a noun, the order we put them in is quite important.
For example, we dont usually say an old Indian beautiful carpet.
It sounds much better to say a beautiful old Indian carpet.
As a general rule, adjectives are generally placed in this order.
First, opinion, then size, quality, age, shape, colour, participle forms, origin, material, type and purpose.
So the phrase a beautiful old Indian carpet follows these guidelines, a beautiful old Indian carpet.
You dont have to include an example of every type of adjective, but the ones you do use should follow the order.
　　当我们用两个或者三个形容词来描述一个名词时，我们排列这些形容词的顺序非常重要。
例如，我们通常不会说一个老的印度的漂亮的地毯，一个漂亮的老的印度的地毯的说法要顺口的多。
我们放置形容词通常遵循以下规则：首先是看法，然后是大小，质量，年龄，形状，颜遥，特殊方式，来源，材料，类型和目的。
所以，遵循这样的规则，短语一个漂亮的老的印度的地毯，我们会说一个漂亮的老的印度的地毯。
短语中你不需要包括每一个类型的形容词，但你需要的这些形容词必须遵循这个规则。
