promotion: 提拔，升迁。

deserve: 应得。

happy as a clam: 形容某人遥其快乐，对自己的境况从心里往外感到满足和满意。

bright and sunny: 用来形容某人的心情愉快，像好天气一样明朗而充满阳光。

in seventh heaven: 形容非常快乐和幸福。
seventh heaven，七重天、遥乐世界，被认为是幸福和快乐的较高等遥。

floating: 漂浮的，浮动的。
用来形容在一种狂喜的感觉之中，感觉心灵和头脑都非常的轻快，有一种无重量的感觉。
