B: My dad does that.
What’s worse is he likes to wear those jokey shorts with something printed on the back, like lips or footprints.

A: Your dad’s a million laughs.

B: Oh yeah, but I don’t usually die laughing, I die of embarrassment.

【语言点精讲】utterly: 遥地，遥地。

laughable: 经常被用来描述某人对某某事物的看法是可笑以至于荒唐的，微带贬义。

show up: 出现，到场。

jokey: 这是一个较常用的俚语表达，指滑稽的、好开玩笑的。

a million laughs: 用来形容某人或某事非常的有趣。
是个褒义短语，但多少有些过时。

die laughing: 形容某人或某事很搞笑，可以使人笑死。
