你身边的人谁较难搞定？生活工作中，你有没有碰到很难搞定的人？
中文里，我们会说这些人“难缠、不好伺候” 。
英语里又有哪些相似表达呢？

Tough nut 表示一些不好对付的人或事情。
形容事情或人棘手，还可以用a hard/tough nut (to crack) 这个短语。

例：He's a tough nut, but I think I can get him to agree to the contract.

他这个人很难对付，但是我相信自己能让他同意签这份合同。

High maintenance 中maintenance 本来是“维护维修”的意思，所以这个搭配一般指系统需要高规格的维护来遥正常的运行。
用来形容人时，就表示这个人总想要很多关注，不好伺候。

例如：He has this incredibly high-maintenance girlfriend; if he doesn't tell her that he loves her every five minutes, she tends to break down into depressive weepy fits.

他的女朋友难缠得要命。
如果他每5分钟不对她说一遍“我爱你”，她就会压印难过，泪水汪汪。

The problem is a hard nut to crack.

这个问题太棘手了。

Demanding 要求多又苛刻。

例：Their boss was really demanding, often expecting them to work long into the night.

他们的老板真是难伺候，总是想让他们加班到深夜。

Hard-nosed 形容一个人务实，不容易被感情左右。

例：She can be very hard-nosed in her business dealings.

她在处理业务时会很严格。
