【文化ABC】季节 二农作物正当季也可以用season。
如 Pears are in season now。
遥梨正当季。
相反的，淡季用off-season或者out of season。
四季的初期，中期，末期可以用early，mid，late，也可以加上time。
如springtime(春季)，wintertime(冬季),但是没有falltime这个单词。
我们夏季还有初伏、中伏、末伏，英语里较接近的表达是 dog days of summer -夏季较热的时期。
season of the year 作为特定的季节表达，也可以说成time of year。
