Tea, as one of China's specialties, is the most popular beverage for Chinese people. There is even a system for appreciating tea which includes tea drinking (tea types and water heat), teapot art and tea house culture. According to historical data, China began to grow tea about two thousand years ago during the Warring States period (403-221 B. C. ). Tea was known in the Han dynasty but only became popular in the Tang Dynasty. At this time, tea pot production was an art and tea drinking a ceremony. Tea falls into five major kinds: Black tea, Jasmine tea, Wulong tea, Green tea and Brick tea.
