Again the wood, and long with－drawing vale，
　In many a tint of tender green are dressed,
Where the young leaves unfolding scarce conceal
　Reneath their early shade the half－formed nest
Of finch or wood－lark；and the primrose pale，
　And lavish cowslip，wildly scattered round，
Give their sweet spirits to the sighing gale.

　Ah！
Season of delight!
－could augght be found
To soothe awhile the tortured bosom's pain，
　Of sorrow's rankling shaft to cure the wound，
And bring life's first delusions once again，
'Twere surely met in thee！
－Thy prospect fair，
Thy sounds of harmony，thy balmy air，
Have power to cure all sadneess—but despair.



又遥，森林和幽幽的深谷，
　披上了嫩绿，深浅不一，
绽开的幼叶无法遮住
　初荫下的遥一半筑起，
它属于燕雀或百灵；淡淡的报春花，
　华丽的立金花，撒满一地，
让叹息的微风卷起甜甜的精华。

　啊，快乐的季节！
如果有种东西
能够慰藉受难心胸的痛苦，
　把悲痛那可恨的箭伤遥，
使生活早期的幻想遥如初，
它一定在你身边！
——你的美景，
你音乐的和谐，你空气的清馨，
能够平抚除了遥望的所有悲悯。
